Privacy Policy.
How DRAFT collects, uses and protects personal information across this website — including System Finder submissions and enquiries.
LAST UPDATED — 25 AUGUST 2026
01 / WHO DRAFT IS
DRAFT is an AI systems consultancy. DRAFT designs and implements AI-powered and automated systems around specific business processes. For the purposes of UK data protection law, DRAFT is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
Legal entity details: [TO CONFIRM — REGISTERED COMPANY NAME] [TO CONFIRM — REGISTERED OFFICE ADDRESS] [TO CONFIRM — COMPANY NUMBER]
You can contact DRAFT about privacy at any time via hello@draft.systems.
02 / INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE
You may provide personal information when you use this website, including:
- Contact details such as your name, email address and company name when you make an enquiry or email DRAFT directly.
- The content of any message you send, including information about your business and the processes you want to discuss.
- Answers you give in the DRAFT System Finder (see section 3).
03 / SYSTEM FINDER INFORMATION
The System Finder asks six questions about how your business operates — for example your industry, team structure and where manual work sits. Your answers are used to generate a recommendation about the type of system most likely to help.
When you complete the System Finder, your answers and the resulting recommendation are stored so that DRAFT can understand the diagnosis if you choose to get in touch. At that stage the submission is anonymous: it is not linked to your name or contact details unless you later choose to provide them through the contact form shown with your results.
If you do submit your contact details, they are attached to your earlier answers so DRAFT can respond to your enquiry with the context of your diagnosis.
04 / ENQUIRY AND CONTACT INFORMATION
If you contact DRAFT — through a form on this site or by email — DRAFT processes the details you provide (typically your name, email address, company and message) in order to respond, and, where the conversation progresses, to prepare a proposal or take steps towards working together.
DRAFT keeps enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up discussion. See section 9 on retention.
05 / AUTOMATICALLY COLLECTED TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Like most websites, standard technical information may be processed when you visit — for example your IP address, browser type and pages requested — through server and hosting logs operated by DRAFT's hosting providers. This information is used to keep the site secure and working correctly.
This website does not currently use analytics or marketing technologies, and does not set any non-essential cookies. See the Cookie Policy for details of the essential storage the site does use.
06 / PURPOSES FOR PROCESSING
DRAFT processes personal information to:
- Operate and secure this website.
- Generate your System Finder recommendation and store your diagnosis.
- Respond to enquiries and communicate with you about DRAFT's services.
- Prepare proposals and take steps towards a contract where discussions progress.
- Meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations where they apply.
DRAFT does not sell personal information and does not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
07 / LAWFUL BASES
Under UK data protection law, DRAFT relies on the following lawful bases, depending on the context:
- Legitimate interests — operating and securing the website, storing System Finder diagnoses and responding to enquiries about DRAFT's services.
- Steps towards a contract — where discussions with you progress towards a proposal or engagement.
- Consent — where you choose to enable optional technologies through the cookie preferences (currently none are in use).
- Legal obligation — where DRAFT must retain or disclose information to comply with the law.
08 / SERVICE PROVIDERS AND PROCESSORS
DRAFT uses a small number of service providers to operate this website, including:
- Website hosting and delivery providers, which serve the site and may process standard technical logs. [TO CONFIRM — HOSTING PROVIDER DETAILS]
- A cloud database provider, which stores System Finder submissions and enquiry details. [TO CONFIRM — DATABASE PROVIDER / REGION]
Providers process information only on DRAFT's instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards. DRAFT does not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
09 / DATA RETENTION
DRAFT keeps personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described above:
- System Finder submissions (including any attached contact details): [TO CONFIRM — RETENTION PERIOD]
- Enquiry correspondence: kept for the duration of the discussion and a reasonable follow-up period. [TO CONFIRM — RETENTION PERIOD]
- Technical logs: retained by hosting providers for limited periods according to their own schedules.
When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
10 / INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred internationally, DRAFT relies on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses. [TO CONFIRM — CONFIRM PROVIDER LOCATIONS / SAFEGUARDS]
11 / SECURITY
DRAFT applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit stored submissions to authorised systems, and keeping the tooling used to operate this site to a minimum. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but DRAFT works to protect the information it holds.
12 / YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information DRAFT holds about you.
- Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected.
